I Love You Afrika

My love stretches from Cape of Good Hope to Cairo of Pharaohs, like the ambitious dream of Cecil Rhodes,
It reaches sky like the insurmountable Mount Kilimanjaro
It is as versatile and all-encompassing like the Equatorial Rain-forests of DRC
It is as tolerant as the different tribal and ethnic groups of Nigeria
It is as eloquent as the Masai languages of Kenya
My love is as endless as the Copper Belt of Zambia
It is as diverse as the Serengeti National Park of Tanzania
It is as common as oil fields in Sudan, Angola, Niger, and Libya
It is as precious as gemstones and diamonds of Botswana, South Africa, and Zimbabwe
It is as penetrative as Nile River, as wonderful as the majestic Victoria Falls
My love is as brave as the Lions of Taranga, as fertile as Lake Malawi
It is as delicious as the coconut of Cote Devoir, as adaptive as the Bushmen of Kalahari Desert
My love is as convenient as Port Beira, as Royal as the Swazi Kingdom
It is as beautiful as the fynbos community endemic to Western Cape
It suits to all-terrain like the Mountainous Lesotho Kingdom,
From the Islands of Cape Verde to the species hotspot of Madagascar,
From the firstborn of African Independence: Ghana, Guinea, and Mali, to the icon of resistance: Ethiopia, my love never ends
From the Windhoek of Namibia, to the great Tanganyika Lake, from the from the great pyramids of Egypt, to the Great Zimbabwe Ruins of Masvingo, to the soccer-rich streets of Yaounde, from Arabic versatility of Algeria to the rich cultural diversity of South Africa, from the Western Sahara nation of Mauritania to the Gulf of Aden republic of Djibouti, from Ouagadougou to the red sea connecting nation of Eritrea, from the hot sands of the nation of Chad to the Atlas Mountains all the way to Mediterranean coast of Tunisia, from the polarized Mogadishu to the war-torn Darfur., my love is impartial, non selective and non partisan
I believe in Togo, I believe in Seychelles, I love you Rwanda, I love you Burundi, I'm thinking about you Liberia, you are in my mind Mauritius, I believe in you Morocco, don’t sink in the Atlantic Ocean my beloved Sierra Leone, forever I need you the Central African Republic for you are my hauling car in the equator, you are mine Benin... I believe in you Africa
But Why Africa….
When galaxies collide they become bigger, why is it that when ideologies clash they crush and crumble? Lifeless matter compliment and thrive but we compete and collapse, why? War cries, screams of panic, tears of fear...why in Africa?
I have embraced everything that stands for your unity and discarded anything that stands to divide you
I have accepted all the reasons to believe in you and condemned everything that discourages you
I have conceived all the ingredients for your development and aborted every selfish route that advocates for dis-empowerment
I have engaged architects of sanity in our Motherland and discontinued the acts of double standards
From the unpredictable weather of the Cape to the very very hot climate of Cairo, I love you, Africa

Happy 50th Anniversary Africa!!!!!!!!!
